When you come across content that damages your brand, the first question that usually comes to mind is: "How long will it take for this content to be removed?" While the answer varies depending on the type of content and the platform it's on, every case at Achernar goes through the same standard four-stage process.
1. Detection
Our AI-powered monitoring system scans all digital channels 24/7, including social media, search engines, forums, and news sites. Detected content is verified through manual review and classified as "at-risk content." The goal at this stage is to separate genuine violations from false positives.
2. Analysis
Verified content is assessed on grounds of brand infringement, fraud, or reputational harm. We examine how the content violates the platform's specific terms of use and local laws, and the necessary evidence is collected at this stage.
3. Operation
Each platform has its own takedown procedure — so a platform-specific "rapid response" strategy is determined. The takedown request is submitted to the relevant platform, and the process becomes trackable through a real-time dashboard.
4. Reporting
The process is kept under follow-up until the content's removal is confirmed. The outcome is reported, together with supporting evidence, in PDF and Excel format. These reports can also be used, when needed, in legal proceedings or in submissions to regulatory bodies.
How long does the process take?
Our average takedown time is under 28 hours, although this can vary depending on the platform's level of cooperation and the type of violation. What matters is that every stage of the process is shared with you transparently.
